Ways to improve your credit score

Jul 28, 20266 min read

Your credit score reflects how reliably you repay borrowed money. It is built over time, and small consistent habits matter more than occasional big moves.

Pay every bill on time. Late payments are one of the fastest ways to hurt your score, so set reminders or automate payments wherever possible.

Keep your credit utilisation low. Try to use less than 30 percent of your available credit limit, as using too much signals dependence on borrowed money.

Avoid closing old credit cards unnecessarily, since a longer credit history works in your favour. Review your credit report regularly and dispute any errors you find.
